Can Unabyss Keep Context Separate Across Accounts?

My original aim was to test whether Unabyss could retain context for the different accounts I manage without mixing their information or brand voices. The Notion connection succeeded and setup said the account was ready, but the expected note contents were missing. That prevented the separation test. After I reported the problems, Marcin Uchacz, Unabyss's co-founder and CEO, checked the import logs and confirmed an integration fault.

My role

I created a small retrieval check, followed the connection and filter settings, compared the two answers, separated sample data from my own notes, and documented the findings with proposed corrections for the product team.

Why I ran this review

Unabyss connects your apps to create a shared memory for your AI tools. I work across multiple accounts, so I wanted to check whether each account's voice and context could stay separate.

Review objective

Check whether Unabyss could retain context for multiple accounts and keep their information and brand voices from mixing. The Notion import was a prerequisite, not the main purpose of the review. I did not get as far as running the context-separation test because the expected notes were unavailable.

How I set up the review

Before testing separation between accounts, I needed to confirm that Unabyss could retrieve the source notes. I connected a fresh Notion account and used Claude for that check. The supplied chat screenshots show Claude's Free plan and Sonnet 5 Medium.

I checked the Notion connection settings while troubleshooting. Unabyss was installed, read-content access was enabled, and both Notes and Projects appeared in the content-access list.

Setup appeared ready, but the vault was empty

Setup reported that the account was ready. The dashboard still showed zero memories stored, alongside 14m of claimed time saved, although nothing had been retrieved.
